Hi Everyone,
The South Arkansas Writers met at 2 PM on Sunday, 14 June 2026 (a week early because next Sunday is Father’s Day), at Main Street Pizza in El Dorado. Present were Jack and Janet Ryan, Marilyn Joyner, Rick Vosper, Beverley Bethune, and Desireé Stipp-Bethune.
Our next meeting will be at 2PM on 19 July 2026. Note that this is back to the third Sunday of the month.
News:
Beverley Bethune (Desireé’s mom) has been here visiting and came to this month’s meeting.
Desireé won a Second Place for “The Broom,” at the White County Creative Writers meeting.
Janet brought the Armenian Lace that she’s been creating and writing about on her stamp pages.

We critiqued Jack’s Chapter 24 from his novel “The Centaurian Bud Vase.” We had some interesting discussions and a lot of good suggestions.
